Here at PJS Hygiene Ltd, Extractor Fan Cleaning Services will remove the extractor fan from the ducting and remove all traces of grease and carbon that has built up around the impeller, fan casing, and fan motor. After the extractor fan cleaning has been carried out we replace the fan into the duct and seal the fan with a quality duct sealant to ensure no leakages of grease will occur from the seals.

Recent legislation (View HSE Document) gives insurance companies the right to void fire claims if the owner cannot prove that their ducts have been cleaned within the last year (in some cases this has to be done 2 or 3 times a year depending on use). This is understandable the build up of grease is a severe FIRE RISK !! “
In some instances where the extractor fan cannot be taken out we will fit access doors either side of the fan to carry out the extractor fan cleaning and to enable easy inspection of the extractor fan.
